Amends the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act. Provides that it is an unlawful practice for a tower to misrepresent an affiliation with the State, a unit of local government, an insurance company, a private club, or any other entity for the purpose of securing a business transaction with a vehicle owner or operator.

| AN ACT concerning business.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business |

| Practices Act is amended by adding Section 2III as follows: |

| (815 ILCS 505/2III new) |

| Sec. 2III. Towers; misrepresentation of affiliation. |
8 |
| (a) As used in this Section, "tower" has the meaning |
9 |
| ascribed to it in Section 1-205.2 of the Illinois Vehicle Code. |

| (b) It shall be unlawful for any tower to misrepresent an |
11 |
| affiliation with the State, a unit of local government, an |
12 |
| insurance company, a private club, or any other entity for the |
13 |
| purpose of securing a business transaction with a vehicle owner |
14 |
| or operator.
