AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3433

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3433, on page 26, 
3
immediately below line 9, by inserting the following:

    "Section 1.5. The Director of the Department of Natural 
5
Resources, on behalf of the State of Illinois, is authorized to 
6
execute and deliver to Sangamon County, an Illinois unit of 
7
local government, State of Illinois, for and in consideration 
8
of One Dollar ($1.00) paid to said Department, a quit claim 
9
deed to the following described real property, to wit:
 
10
    All that portion of the right of way and appurtenances of 
11
    the abandoned portion of the Madison Subdivision of Union 
12
    Pacific Railroad Company (formerly the Chicago and North 
13
    Western Transportation Company), now known as the Sangamon 
14
    Valley Trail Bikeway, described as Beginning at the South 
15
    line of Section 10, Township 15 North, Range 6 West of the 
16
    Third Principal Meridian, and thence running in a northerly

    direction along the centerline of said abandoned railroad 
2
    to a line being parallel to and 200 feet North of the North 
3
    line of the Southwest Quarter of Section 19, Township 16 
4
    North, Range 5 West of the Third Principal Meridian, as

    measured along said centerline of said abandoned railroad 
6
    as originally surveyed, all being situated in the County of 
7
    Sangamon and the State of Illinois."; and

on page 26, line 11, by replacing "Section 1" with "Sections 1 
9
and 1.5".
