| AN ACT concerning transportation.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by changing |
| 5 |
| Section 18d-180 as follows:
|

| (625 ILCS 5/18d-180)
|
| 7 |
| Sec. 18d-180. Applicability. |
| 8 |
| (a) The provisions of this Chapter apply to all the |
| 9 |
| activities of safety relocators in any jurisdiction to which |
| 10 |
| Chapter 18a of this Code applies in accordance with Section |
| 11 |
| 18a-700.
|
| 12 |
| (b) Any county to which Chapter 18a of this Code applies |
| 13 |
| may, by resolution, choose to be excluded from the application |
| 14 |
| of this Chapter in that county. Upon adoption of a resolution |
| 15 |
| by the County Board, approved by a majority of its members, |
| 16 |
| providing that the county shall not be subject to this Chapter, |
| 17 |
| the county clerk shall certify to the Commission that the |
| 18 |
| County Board has adopted the resolution. |

| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 21 |
| becoming law.
