    AN ACT concerning local government.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Local Government Acceptance of Credit Cards

Act is amended by changing Section 35 as follows:

    Sec. 35. Liability of local governmental employees. A local 
8
governmental
employee
who accepts payment by credit card in 
9
accordance with this Act and
and any
applicable rules shall not 
10
incur personal liability for the final collection of
the 
11
payment.
