AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
ARTICLE 1
Section 5. In addition to any other funds appropriated for that purpose, the sum of $2,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the Illinois Manufacturing Extension Center (IMEC) for the purpose of improving the productivity and competitiveness of Illinois' small and mid-sized manufacturers.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect immediately.
