    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Supreme Court Act is amended by changing

Section 7 as follows:

    Sec. 7. 
The
The supreme court shall be vested with all

power and
authority necessary to carry into complete execution 
9
all its judgments and
determinations in all matters within its 
10
jurisdiction,
according to the rules and principles of the

common law and of the laws
of this State.
