Appropriates $250,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for a grant to the Illinois High School Association for development and implementation of a random steroid testing program for high school athletes. Effective July 1, 2009.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $250,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for a grant to the Illinois High School Association for development and implementation of a random steroid testing program for high school athletes.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2009.
