| AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1810

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1810 as follows:

| on page 1, lines 13 and 14, by deleting "and other elected |

| officials of the State"; and
|
| 5 |
| on page 1, line 21, by inserting "An official or dignitary |
| 6 |
| covered by this Section may decline, in writing, to have a |
| 7 |
| security and protection detail assigned to him or her. After |
| 8 |
| receiving the written declination of the dignitary or official, |
| 9 |
| the Director shall not be required to provide a security and |
| 10 |
| protection detail to the official or dignitary." immediately |
| 11 |
| after "election.".
