| AN ACT concerning civil law.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Eminent Domain Act is amended by adding |

| Section 25-5-30 as follows:
|

| Sec. 25-5-30. Quick-take; Village of Bridgeview. |
| 8 |
| Quick-take proceedings under Article 20 may be used for a |
| 9 |
| period of 36 months after the effective date of this amendatory |
| 10 |
| Act of the 96th General Assembly by the Village of Bridgeview |
| 11 |
| for the 71st Street Railroad Grade Separation Project and other |
| 12 |
| incidental work within the Village of Bridgeview, Illinois, for |
| 13 |
| the acquisition of portions of property, temporary |
| 14 |
| construction easements, and rights of way necessary to complete |
| 15 |
| the subject project involving property bounded by 71st Street |
| 16 |
| from Roberts Road on the west to Harlem Avenue on the east, and |
| 17 |
| by Ferdinand Avenue, between 71st Street and 72nd Street, in |
| 18 |
| Bridgeview, Illinois.

| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 20 |
| becoming law.
