| AN ACT concerning State government.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The State Treasurer Act is amended by changing |
| 5 |
| Section 5 as follows:
|
| 6 |

| Sec. 5.
The
The Treasurer shall keep an official seal, |

| which shall be used to
authenticate all writings, papers and |
| 9 |
| documents, required by law to be
certified from his office; and |

| copies of all records, writings, papers and
documents legally |

| in his keeping, when certified by him, and authenticated
by his |
| 12 |
| official seal, shall be received in evidence in the same manner |
| 13 |
| and
with like effect as the originals. |
