| AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 48

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 48 on page 3, by |

| replacing lines 6 through 17 with the following: |

| "The members of the Commission shall be appointed by the |

| Governor, with the advice and consent of the Senate. Members |
| 6 |
| may be re-appointed for additional terms, as provided for under |
| 7 |
| Section 25."; and

| on page 3, line 18, by replacing "appointing authority" with |
| 9 |
| "Governor"; and
|
| 10 |
| on page 4, lines 2 and 3, by replacing "appointing authority" |

| with "Governor"; and
