| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Mae S. Timmins of East |
4 |
| Alton on December 30, 2005; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born on September 14, 1933, in Olton, |
6 |
| Texas, to Deward and Ardis Williams; and
|
7 |
| WHEREAS, She married Carl E. Timmins on September 16, 1951, |
8 |
| at the First Baptist Church in Loop, Texas; and
|
9 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Timmins was a homemaker for most of her |
10 |
| married life and was very active in the church in children's |
11 |
| ministries; and
|
12 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Mae S. Timmins has been felt by |
13 |
| many, especially her devoted husband, Carl; her children and |
14 |
| their spouses, Keith and Laura Timmins, Ralph Timmins, Tim and |
15 |
| Bev Timmins, Jerri and Johnny Farris, and Jamie and Michael |
16 |
| Toolen, Jr.; her grandchildren, Jennifer and Randy Curtis, |
17 |
| Jessica Timmins, Daniel, Josh, and Trisha Timmins, Tyler and |
18 |
| Jake Timmins, Michelle Asmus, and Michael III and Mitchell |
19 |
| Toolen; and her brothers and their spouses, Lee and Barbara |
20 |
| Williams, Edmond and Neva Williams, Johnny and Betty Williams, |
21 |
| and Donny and Janice Williams; and
|
22 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Timmins was preceded in death by her parents |
23 |
| and her daughter Carleen Timmins; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
26 |
| Mae S. Timmins, and we extend our deepest sympathy to her |
27 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
