| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives were saddened to learn that Richard W. Novak |
| 4 |
| passed away on November 23, 2006; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Richard W. Novak was the beloved son of Cordelia |
| 6 |
| and the late John Novak; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Novak was a 1956 graduate of Byrne Grammar |
| 8 |
| School and a 1960 graduate of Kelly High School in Chicago; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Novak previously worked for the Chicago |
| 10 |
| Tribune and held various positions with the City of Chicago; |
| 11 |
| and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Novak was an avid White Sox fan, as well as a |
| 13 |
| fan of the Chicago Blackhawks; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Richard W. Novak is deeply felt by |
| 15 |
| all who knew and loved him, especially his mother, Cordelia; |
| 16 |
| his brother, former State Representative Philip (Rebecca); his |
| 17 |
| nephew, Todd; and his many uncles, aunts, and cousins; |
| 18 |
| therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 20 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 21 |
| we mourn the passing of Richard W. Novak and we extend our |
| 22 |
| sincerest condolences to his family, friends, and community; |
| 23 |
| and be it further
|
| 24 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 25 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our deepest |
| 26 |
| sympathy.
