| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
3 |
| Representatives are pleased to honor our brave men and women |
4 |
| who are serving in military operations overseas; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, United States Army Private James Bright of Breese, |
6 |
| Illinois is the son of Lynne Huelsmann and the step-son of Mike |
7 |
| Huelsmann; his father is Randall Bright, a Colonel in the |
8 |
| United States Air Force; and
|
9 |
| WHEREAS, James Bright is a 2002 graduate of Central High |
10 |
| School; he joined the United States Army in 2005, and left for |
11 |
| Iraq on December 27 of that year to serve with the 1st Armored |
12 |
| Division; and |
13 |
| WHEREAS, In April, 2006, James Bright was wounded in a |
14 |
| bomb-related incident in Iraq; as a result, he suffered a |
15 |
| broken shoulder blade and other injuries; and |
16 |
| WHEREAS, James Bright returned to Breese, Illinois in May |
17 |
| to recuperate from his injuries; upon his arrival, he was |
18 |
| escorted to Central Community High School, the starting point |
19 |
| for a parade in his honor; along the parade route, James Bright |
20 |
| was presented with a key to the city by Breese Mayor Don Maue |
21 |
| for service to his country; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
23 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
24 |
| we thank United States Army Private James Bright for his |
25 |
| service to the United States and the people of the State of |
26 |
| Illinois; and be it further
|

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
28 |
| presented to United States Army Private James Bright.
