| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives understand the value of family; and
|
| 4 |
| WHEREAS, The Elsner Family has enjoyed the Thanksgiving |
| 5 |
| morning tradition of visiting Brookfield Zoo since 1976, never |
| 6 |
| missing a year; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Daniel Elsner is a United States Marine, currently |
| 8 |
| at boot camp in California and will miss the holiday this year; |
| 9 |
| and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, It is important to the family to keep this |
| 11 |
| tradition going for years to come; therefore, be it
|
| 12 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 13 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 14 |
| we declare December 17, 2006 to be Thanksgiving Day for the |
| 15 |
| Elsner Family so they may continue their family tradition; and |
| 16 |
| be it further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 18 |
| presented to the Elsner Family.
