| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the |

| State of Illinois learned with regret of the death of Benjamin |
4 |
| I. Uwumarogie on Wednesday, April 26, 2006; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Born on June 29, 1983, Benjamin Igieobo Uwumarogie |
6 |
| was the first son born to Sunday Igieobo and Portia Ann |
7 |
| Uwumarogie, however three older brothers, Lewis Fowler III, |
8 |
| Christopher Uwumarogie, and DeShannon Foster-Uwumarogie |
9 |
| preceded him in birth; he was also blessed with two older |
10 |
| sisters, Damita Jo Fowler and Veronica Uwumarogie, and two |
11 |
| younger sisters, Alicia and Victoria Uwumarogie; and
|
12 |
| WHEREAS, Benjamin was known by many names, including Ben |
13 |
| Breeze, Benny Uwu, O B 1, and Ace Boon Coone among others; he |
14 |
| had a great sense of humor and was the family jester; his great |
15 |
| sense of humor helped him to make friends quite easily; and
|
16 |
| WHEREAS, Benjamin was very interested in his music, |
17 |
| athletics, modeling, and comedy, and he was a capable student; |
18 |
| he attended Woodson South Elementary School in Chicago, Sieden |
19 |
| Prairie Elementary School in Matteson, and graduated from Rich |
20 |
| South High School in Richton Park; and
|
21 |
| WHEREAS, He graduated from Barbizon Modeling School and |
22 |
| attended Joliet Junior College, where he played football; at |
23 |
| the time of his passing, he was a student at the College of |
24 |
| DuPage, where he was a wide receiver on the football team; and
|
25 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Benjamin Igieobo Uwumarogie has |
26 |
| been deeply felt by many, especially his parents; his children, |
27 |
| Benji and Jaedyn; his siblings; his sister-in-law, Tameka |
28 |
| Fowler; his nephews, Brandon Fowler, Lewis IV, and Cedric |
29 |
| Thompson Jr.; his nieces, Brittany Fowler, JaCoyah Harrison, |
30 |
| and Janell Thompson; his many aunts, uncles, and cousins |
