| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |

| Representatives
learned with sadness of the death of John Brian |
4 |
| Thatcher of Lakemoor on
April 4, 2006; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, John Brian Thatcher was born December 3, 1977, to |
6 |
| Brian and Rita Thatcher in Lake Forest; he was big brother to |
7 |
| Paul Thatcher; growing up in Mundelein, he played the trumpet; |
8 |
| he graduated from Mundelein High School in 1996, where he |
9 |
| played on the high school football team and was a member of the |
10 |
| National Honor Society; in 2000, he graduated from Western |
11 |
| Illinois University with a major in communications and a minor |
12 |
| in management; and
|
13 |
| WHEREAS, John worked at Medline Industry in Mundelein, |
14 |
| where he was well known for his consideration of all employees |
15 |
| in his position in the Human Resources Department and will be |
16 |
| remembered for seeing the best in each person he worked with; |
17 |
| and
|
18 |
| WHEREAS, John married the love of his life, Kelly |
19 |
| Riddehough on August 11, 2001; they lived in Lakemoor and were |
20 |
| strong members of Faith Baptist Church in Grayslake; and
|
21 |
| WHEREAS, John is survived by his wife, Kelly; his parents, |
22 |
| Brian and Rita Thatcher; his brother, Paul Thatcher; his |
23 |
| mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ron and Nancy Riddehough; his |
24 |
| brother-in-law, Jason; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and |
25 |
| dear friends; he was preceded in death by his paternal |
26 |
| grandparents, Ann and Marshall Thatcher, and his maternal |
27 |
| grandparents, Arvo and Viola Nyrhila; and
|
28 |
| WHEREAS, While John will be missed by his family and many |
29 |
| friends and co-workers, he will always be remembered for his |
30 |
| enthusiasm and sense of adventure; he was organized and |
