| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, On Saturday, March 4, 2006, the Hinsdale Junior |
| 3 |
| Woman's Club will hold its annual benefit supporting the |
| 4 |
| Wellness House, Family Matters Program; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, The Wellness House offers a comprehensive program |
| 6 |
| of psychological support and education to individuals, |
| 7 |
| children and teens, and families whose lives have been directly |
| 8 |
| affected by cancer; "Challenging Cancer. Creating Community. |
| 9 |
| Changing Lives." has been the mission of The Wellness House |
| 10 |
| since its founding in 1990; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, The Hinsdale Junior Woman's Club is dedicated to |
| 12 |
| community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through |
| 13 |
| volunteer service; its purpose is to offer members a network of |
| 14 |
| resources and opportunities while serving as a leader of |
| 15 |
| volunteer and philanthropic service; therefore, be it
|
| 16 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 17 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 18 |
| we congratulate the Hinsdale Junior Woman's Club on the |
| 19 |
| occasion of its annual benefit supporting the Wellness House, |
| 20 |
| Family Matters Program; and be it further
|
| 21 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 22 |
| presented to the Hinsdale Junior Woman's Club as an expression |
| 23 |
| of our respect and esteem and with best wishes for a successful |
| 24 |
| benefit.
