| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the |
3 |
| State of Illinois were deeply saddened to learn of the death of |
4 |
| Ricardo L. Tate of Chicago; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born September 24, 1952 in Chicago, and |
6 |
| attended grammar and high school on the south side of Chicago; |
7 |
| and
|
8 |
| WHEREAS, He graduated from Harvard College in 1974 with an |
9 |
| A.B. degree in economics; he received a J.D. degree from the |
10 |
| University of Chicago in 1980 and was admitted to the practice |
11 |
| of law in Illinois in 1980; and
|
12 |
| WHEREAS, He served as an administrative law judge for the |
13 |
| State of Illinois Human Rights Commission since 1996; prior to |
14 |
| that, he was a staff/supervisory attorney for the Legal |
15 |
| Assistance Foundation of Chicago; and
|
16 |
| WHEREAS, He was affiliated with the Federal Trial Bar, |
17 |
| Northern District of Illinois; Illinois Judicial Council; |
18 |
| American Bar Association; and the Cook County Bar Association; |
19 |
| and
|
20 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Ricardo L. Tate will be felt by all |
21 |
| who knew and loved him; therefore, be it
|
22 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
23 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
24 |
| we mourn the passing of Ricardo L. Tate and we extend to his |
25 |
| family and friends our thoughts and prayers during this |
26 |
| difficult time; and be it further
|

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
28 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our deepest |
