SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

Appropriates $57,600,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services to fund a full 5% Cost of Doing Business increase in the topline rates of private sector agencies serving individuals with developmental disabilities.  Effective July 1, 2006.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5.  In   addition   to   all   other   amounts appropriated for these purposes, the sum of $57,600,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services to fund a full 5% Cost of Doing Business increase in the topline rates of private sector agencies serving individuals with developmental disabilities.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2006.
