| AN ACT concerning local government.
|
| 2 |
| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Illinois Municipal Code is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing Section 11-103-1 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (65 ILCS 5/11-103-1) (from Ch. 24, par. 11-103-1)
|

| Sec. 11-103-1. Every municipality having a population of |
| 8 |
| less than 500,000
may acquire, own, construct, manage, |
| 9 |
| maintain, and operate, within or
outside the corporate limits |
| 10 |
| of the
the municipality, airports and landing
fields, together |
| 11 |
| with all land, appurtenances, and easements, required
therefor |
| 12 |
| or deemed necessary and useful in connection therewith and in
|
| 13 |
| accordance with the purposes expressed in this section, |
| 14 |
| including
structures of all kinds.
