Appropriates $1,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority for the Safe to Learn Program for its FY06 ordinary and contingent expenses.  Effective July 1, 2005.

$SAFE TO LEARN

    AN ACT making appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5.  The amount of $1,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority for the Safe to Learn Program.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2005.
