SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 		














225 ILCS 65/20-30









    Amends the Nursing and Advanced Practice Nursing Act.  Provides that the roster
of the names and
addresses of all licensees and of all persons whose licenses have been
suspended or revoked shall be made publicly available via the Department's web site and shall also be mailed by the Department to any person in the State upon request. Effective immediately.

    AN ACT concerning professional regulation.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Nursing and Advanced Practice Nursing Act is 
5
amended  by changing Section 20-30 as follows:

    (225 ILCS 65/20-30)

    (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2008)

    Sec. 20-30. Roster. The Department shall maintain a roster

9
of the names and
addresses of all licensees and of all persons 
10
whose licenses have been
suspended or revoked.  This roster 
11
shall be made publicly available via the Department's web site 
12
and shall also be mailed by the Department to any person in the 
13
State upon request
upon written request
and payment of the 
14
required fees.

    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
