 1        AN ACT making appropriations.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The amount of $5,009,100, or so much of  that
 5    amount  as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General
 6    Revenue Fund to the Office of  the  Secretary  of  State  for
 7    Phase  I of the Office of the Secretary of State's Long Range
 8    Plan to improve service and reduce lines at  Drivers  Service
 9    Facilities.  This  includes, but is not limited to, all costs
10    associated with the establishment  of  new  customer  service
11    facilities, automated kiosks, and seasonal road testers.

12        Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on July
13    1, 2003.
