The sum of $21,008,400, or so much thereof 11 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education 12 Assistance Fund to the Board of Higher Education for 13 distribution as grants authorized by Section 3 of the 14 Illinois Financial Assistance Act for Nonpublic Institutions 15 of Higher Learning. 16 Section 50. The sum of $13,066,200, or so much thereof 17 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 18 Fund to the Board of Higher Education for distribution as 19 grants authorized by the Health Services Education Grants 20 Act. 21 Section 55. The sum of $3,033,800, or so much thereof as 22 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education 23 Assistance Fund to the Board of Higher Education for 24 distribution as grants authorized by the Health Services 25 Education Grants Act. 26 Section 60. The sum of $2,600,000, or so much thereof as 27 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 28 Fund to the Board of Higher Education for distribution as 29 engineering equipment grants authorized by Section 9.13 of -4- LRB093 07144 NHT 07299 b 1 the Board of Higher Education Act. 2 Section 65. The sum of $4,700,000, or so much thereof as 3 may be necessary, is appropriated from the BHE Federal Grants 4 Fund to the Board of Higher Education for grants from funds 5 provided under the Preparing, Training, and Recruiting High 6 Quality Teachers and Principals Program. 7 Section 70. The sum of $2,750,000, or so much thereof as 8 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 9 Fund to the Department of Public Health for distribution of 10 medical education scholarships authorized by an Act to 11 provide grants for family practice residency programs and 12 medical student scholarships through the Illinois Department 13 of Public Health. 14 Section 75. The sum of $2,100,000, or so much thereof as 15 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 16 Fund to the Board of Higher Education for distribution as 17 grants authorized by the Illinois Consortium for Educational 18 Opportunity Act. 19 Section 80. The sum of $25,000, or so much thereof as 20 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education 21 Assistance Fund to the Board of Higher Education for the 22 Illinois Occupational Information Coordinating Committee. 23 Section 85. The sum of $10,110,000, or so much thereof 24 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the BHE Federal 25 Grants Fund to the Board of Higher Education to be expended 26 under the terms and conditions associated with the federal 27 contracts and grants moneys received. 28 Section 90. The sum of $26,117,000, or so much thereof 6 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 7 Fund to the Board of Higher Education for costs related to 8 the Illinois Century Network backbone, costs for connecting 9 colleges, universities, and others to the backbone, and other 10 costs related to development, use, and maintenance of the 11 Illinois Century Network. 12 Section 100. The sum of $120,000, or so much thereof as 13 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 14 Fund to the Board of Higher Education for graduation 15 incentives grants. 16 Section 105. The sum of $25,000,000, or so much thereof 17 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois 18 Century Network Special Purposes Fund to the Board of Higher 19 Education for costs related to the Illinois Century Network 20 backbone, costs for connecting community colleges, 21 universities, and others to the backbone, and other costs 22 related to the development, use, and maintenance of the 23 backbone. 24 Section 110.
