 1        AN ACT concerning alcoholic liquor.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The Liquor Control Act of 1934 is amended by
 5    changing Section 1-3.02 as follows:

 6        (235 ILCS 5/1-3.02) (from Ch. 43, par. 95.02)
 7        Sec. 1-3.02.  "Spirits" means  any  beverage  that  which
 8    contains  alcohol  obtained by distillation, mixed with water
 9    or other substance in solution,  and  includes  brandy,  rum,
10    whiskey,  gin,  or other spirituous liquors, and such liquors
11    when rectified, blended or otherwise mixed  with  alcohol  or
12    other substances.
