 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1038

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 1038 as follows:
 3    on page 1, line 19, after "21", by inserting  "for  districts
 4    with  an  official school calendar end date before June 15 or
 5    within 2 weeks following the  official  school  calendar  end
 6    date  for districts with a school year end date of June 15 or
 7    later. The regional superintendent  shall  certify  and  file
 8    with the State Superintendent of Education district State aid
 9    claims  by  July  1  for  districts  with  an official school
10    calendar end date before June 15 or no later than July 15 for
11    districts with an official school calendar end date  of  June
12    15 or later"; and

13    on  page  1,  line  20,  by  replacing  "June 21" with "these
14    deadlines"; and

15    on page 1, line 24, by replacing "1 15" with "15".
