93^rd General Assembly

Pursuant to Article IV, Section 9(b) of the Illinois Constitution of 1970, I hereby veto Senate Bill 611, entitled “AN ACT concerning electronic mail.”  I recognize and appreciate the hard work of all the sponsors in passing this legislation.  However, Senate Bill 611 contains language identical to Public Act 93-0199, effective January 1, 2004. 

For this reason, I hereby veto and return Senate Bill 611.
