 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 531

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 531 on page 1,  by
 3    replacing lines 7 through 13 with the following:
 4        "Sec.   16-104c.   Quotas   relating   to   State  Police
 5    enforcement   of   traffic   regulations   prohibited.    The
 6    Department of State Police may not  require  a  State  Police
 7    officer  to issue a specific number of citations, complaints,
 8    or warning notices  during  any  specified  time  period  for
 9    violations  of  traffic regulations governing the movement of
10    vehicles.".
