 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 318

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 318 on page  2  by
 3    inserting immediately below line 17 the following:
 4        "Insurance   producers   shall   not   procure   from  an
 5    unauthorized insurer a primary insurance policy that:
 6             (a)  is designed to satisfy  the  minimum  mandatory
 7        liability  insurance requirements in Section 7-601 of the
 8        Illinois Vehicle Code;
 9             (b)  is designed to satisfy the proof  of  financial
10        responsibility  and  proof  of  insurance requirements in
11        Sections 7-317, 8-108, and 12-606 of the Illinois Vehicle
12        Code; or
13             (c)  covers  the  risk  of  accidental   injury   to
14        employees  arising out of and in the course of employment
15        according to the provisions of the Workers'  Compensation
16        Act.".
