Amends the Juvenile Court Act of 1987. Provides that upon the arrest of a minor by a law enforcement agency of a jurisdiction where the minor does not reside, the arresting law enforcement agency must notify the law enforcement agency of the jurisdiction where the minor resides of the minor's arrest. Provides that the law enforcement agency of the jurisdiction where the minor resides must inform the superintendent of the school district where the minor attends or would have been entitled to attend school or a person designated by the superintendent that the minor has been arrested.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Juvenile Court Act of 1987 is amended by |
5 |
| changing Section 5-325 as follows:
|

| (705 ILCS 405/5-325)
|

| Sec. 5-325. Reports to the State's Attorney , local law |
8 |
| enforcement agency, and school district . |
9 |
| (a) Upon the request of the State's Attorney in the county |
10 |
| where it is
alleged that a minor has committed a crime, any
|
11 |
| school or law enforcement agency that has knowledge of those |
12 |
| allegations shall
forward information or a report concerning |
13 |
| the incident to the State's
Attorney, provided that the |
14 |
| information is not currently protected by any
privilege |
15 |
| recognized by law or by decision, rule, or order of the |
16 |
| Illinois
Supreme Court. |

| (b) Upon the arrest of a minor by a law enforcement agency |
