The University of Illinois Act is amended by 5 adding Section 7a-5 as follows: 6 (110 ILCS 305/7a-5 new) 7 Sec. 7a-5. Student conduct; maximum fine. The University 8 may not impose a fine on a student for violating a university 9 policy governing student conduct in an amount that exceeds 10 $25 for a first offense, $50 for a second offense, $75 for a 11 third offense, or $100 for a fourth or subsequent offense. 12 Section 10. The Southern Illinois University Management 13 Act is amended by adding Section 8a-5 as follows: 14 (110 ILCS 520/8a-5 new) 15 Sec. 8a-5. Student conduct; maximum fine.
