 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2716

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 2716,  AS  AMENDED,
 3    with  reference  to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment
 4    No. 1, on page 64, by inserting after line 4 the following:

 5        "Section 310.  The sum of $31,200,000, or so much thereof
 6    as may  be  necessary,  in  addition  to  any  other  amounts
 7    appropriated  for  this  purpose,  is  appropriated  from the
 8    General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services  for
 9    a  4%  cost  of  living  adjustment starting July 1, 2003 for
10    providers    serving    individuals    with     developmental
11    disabilities.

12        Section  315.  The sum of $13,600,000, or so much thereof
13    as may  be  necessary,  in  addition  to  any  other  amounts
14    appropriated  for  this  purpose,  is  appropriated  from the
15    General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services  for
16    a  4%  cost  of  living  adjustment starting July 1, 2003 for
17    providers serving individuals with mental illness.

18        Section 320.  The sum of $450,000, or so much thereof  as
19    may   be   necessary,   in  addition  to  any  other  amounts
20    appropriated for  this  purpose,  is  appropriated  from  the
21    General  Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for
