 1                     AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 430

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill  430,  AS  AMENDED,
 3    with  reference  to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment
 4    No. 1, on page 19, by replacing lines 30 through 34 with  the
 5    following:
 6        "For  the  2003-2004 school year only, the grant shall be
 7    no greater than  the  grant  received  during  the  2002-2003
 8    school  year  added  to the product of 0.25 multiplied by the
 9    difference  between  the  grant   amount   calculated   under
10    subsection  (a) or (b) of this paragraph (2.10), whichever is
11    applicable, and  the  grant  received  during  the  2002-2003
12    school  year.  For  the 2004-2005 school year only, the grant
13    shall be no  greater  than  the  grant  received  during  the
14    2002-2003 school year added to the product of 0.50 multiplied
15    by  the  difference between the grant amount calculated under
16    subsection (a) or (b) of this paragraph (2.10), whichever  is
17    applicable,  and  the  grant  received  during  the 2002-2003
18    school year. For the 2005-2006 school year  only,  the  grant
19    shall  be  no  greater  than  the  grant  received during the
20    2002-2003 school year added to the product of 0.75 multiplied
21    by the difference between the grant amount  calculated  under
22    subsection  (a) or (b) of this paragraph (2.10), whichever is
23    applicable, and  the  grant  received  during  the  2002-2003
24    school year."; and
