Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the State Employee Article of the Illinois Pension Code. Expands the special retirement formula for credit as a security employee of the Department of Corrections or Human Services to include all eligible (alternative formula) creditable service. Effective immediately.

	Pension Note (Pension Laws Commission)
	The fiscal impact of HB 2548 cannot be calculated, as the number of additional SERS members eligible to receive an annuity based, at least in part, on the alternative formula cannot be determined.
