Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Chicago Teacher Article of the Illinois Pension Code. Allows purchase of service credit for up to 2 years of employment by a private school. Requires payment of an amount representing both employee and employer contributions, plus interest. Also increases the number of unused sick days for which service credit may be granted. Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement. Effective immediately.
