Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Administrative Act. Provides that the Department of Human Services shall develop standards of payment of direct care staff for individuals with developmental disabilities that shall provide for an increase in wages paid to direct care staff employed on the effective date of this amendatory Act. Provides that each facility providing care for individuals with developmental disabilities must provide for such an increase in wages. Effective July 1, 2003.
