Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Property Tax Code with respect to the assessment of farmland. Provides that, notwithstanding provisions governing the method of assessing farmland, the assessed value of farmland in a school district may be reduced in an assessment year only to the extent that and in the same amount as there is an increase in the assessed value of property other than farmland in the school district in that assessment year.

	Deletes reference to:
	35 ILCS 200/10-132 new

	Adds reference to:
	35 ILCS 200/1-55

Deletes everything. Amends the Property Tax Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the definition of "33 1/3%".
