Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Pension Code to allow certain current and former Department of Revenue investigators to transfer service credits from downstate police pension funds to the State Employees' Retirement System. Effective immediately.

	Pension Note (Illinois Pension Laws Commission)
	The fiscal impact of HB 1627 cannot be determined, as the amount of service credit that would be transferred is unknown. It is estimated to be minor as the transfered and required employee contributions should offset most of the increase in accrued liability.
