Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the State Universities Article of the Illinois Pension Code. Changes the method of calculating interest when purchasing service credit for certain periods of military service. Effective immediately.

	Pension Note (Pension Laws Commission)
	The fiscal impact of HB 1545 has not been calculated, as the number of members with eligible military service is unknown. However, there would be a fiscal impact as the interest is calculated for only the last ten years.
