Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the State Finance Act. Provides that certain items of income received by a public university that are currently retained by the university in a University Income Fund shall instead be deposited into a special fund in the State treasury. Applies to moneys received by a University on or after July 1, 2003; does not affect the moneys received by a University before July 1, 2003. Makes a related change in the State Universities Article of the Pension Code. Effective immediately.
