SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Jack Douglas Brinkoetter of Mt. Zion,
4who passed away on January 5, 2025; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Jack Brinkoetter was born in Decatur to Theodore
6and Jessica (Siesenop) Brinkoetter on April 23, 2014; he
7attended Mt. Zion Intermediate School, where he was active in
8football and basketball; he also participated in gymnastics
9and was a very fast runner; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Jack Brinkoetter enjoyed dancing and was
11described as having the best moves while being the life of the
12party; he was known for his sense of humor and sharing jokes
13with family and friends; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Jack Brinkoetter had a passion for hunting and
15fishing, especially with his father and Uncle John; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Jack Brinkoetter was preceded in death by his
17maternal grandfather, Glenn Siesenop; his paternal
18grandfather, Theodore E. Brinkoetter; and his cousin, Jason
19Brinkoetter; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Jack Brinkoetter is survived by his parents; his

1brother, Jett Brinkoetter; his maternal grandmother, Jettie
2Siesenop (Glen Calhoun); his paternal grandmother, Linda
3Mitchell; his paternal step-grandmother, Barb Brinkoetter; his
4paternal great-grandmother, Lorraine (Jack) Barr; his paternal
5great-grandfather, Douglas Theroff; his aunts and uncles,
6Derrick (Beth), Andy (Kerry), Mia (Russ), Jamie, Rhianna
7(Adam), Tara (Tom), Timmy, Taylor (Michael), and Torie
8(Nathan); and many cousins and friends; therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
11Jack Douglas Brinkoetter and extend our sincere condolences to
12his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
13further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Jack Brinkoetter as an expression
16of our deepest sympathy.
