SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 
    Authorizes the Director of the Department of Juvenile Justice to convey to the City of Lincoln the described parcel of land in Logan County upon payment of $1, subject to specified conditions. Effective immediately.

1    AN ACT concerning local government.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. Upon the payment of the sum of $1 to the
5Department of Juvenile Justice, and subject to the conditions
6set forth in Section 10 of this Act, the Director of Juvenile
7Justice is authorized to convey by quitclaim deed all right,
8title, and interest in and to the following described parcel
9of land in Logan County, Illinois, to the City of Lincoln:
 
10    A part of the Southeast Quarter (SW 1/4) of Section 36,
11    Township 20 North, Range 3 West of the 3rd Principal
12    Meridian, Logan County, Illinois identified as Parcel
13    12-036-045-00 and more specifically described as LT 1 E
14    1/2 SW SEC 36-20-3 (EX BEG SE COR N 1/2 SE SW SEC 36, W
15    818.12", N 465.33", E 14", N 138", W 1208 17 to POB.
 
16    Section 10. The conveyance of real property authorized by
17Section 5 shall be made subject to: (1) existing public
18utilities, existing public roads, and any and all
19reservations, easements, encumbrances, covenants and
20restrictions of record; and (2) the express condition that if
21this real property ceases to be used by the City of Lincoln, it
22shall revert to the State of Illinois, Illinois Department of

1Juvenile Justice.
 
2    Section 15. The Director of Juvenile Justice shall obtain
3a certified copy of the portions of this Act containing the
4title, the enacting clause, the effective date, the
5appropriate Section containing the land description of the
6property to be conveyed, and this Section within 60 days after
7its effective date and, upon receipt of the payment required
8by the Section, shall record the certified document in the
9Recorder's Office in the county in which the land is located.
 
10    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
11becoming law.
