SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Robert Timothy "Tim" Yeage of Oak
4Park, who passed away on April 25, 2024 at the age of 61; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Tim Yeage was born in Utica, New York; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Tim Yeage graduated from Wheaton Central High
7School and attended the University of Iowa; he later received
8his bachelor's degree and juris doctorate from the University
9of Illinois Urbana-Champaign; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Tim Yeage was a dedicated partner at the law firm
11of Wilson Elser, where he worked for more than 30 years and
12served as a member of Wilson Elser's executive committee and
13chair of the London practice; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Tim Yeage spent much of his time serving his
15local community, coaching baseball, basketball, and softball
16in Oak Park and tutoring at Learning Edge Tutoring for more
17than 15 years; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Tim Yeage was an active member of Ascension
19Parish and served as a marriage mentor and a leader on
20Appalachian Service Project trips; he was also an avid

1volunteer at St. Catherine-St. Lucy School, where he organized
2barbeques and fundraisers and helped start a tutoring program;
3and
 
4    WHEREAS, Tim Yeage is survived by his wife, Suzanne
5Holmes, and his children, Katie (Stephen) and Robby (Isabel);
6therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Robert Timothy "Tim" Yeage and extend our sincere condolences
10to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be
11it further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Tim Yeage as an expression of our
14deepest sympathy.
