SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Dale Otto Wynes of Reynolds, who 
4passed away on April 30, 2023; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Dale Wynes was born to Otto D. and Ruth N. 
6(McComas) Wynes in Moline on August 3, 1925; he married 
7Marjorie L. Schultz in Princeton on April 23, 1948; he served 
8in the U.S. Marine Corps; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Dale Wynes worked as a farmer in the Reynolds 
10area; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Dale Wynes was preceded in death by his wife; his 
12daughter-in-law, Donna Wynes; his two brothers; and his two 
13sisters; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Dale Wynes is survived by his children, Ken 
15(Martha) Wynes, Larry Wynes, Lois Smith, and Kay (Jeff) Wood; 
16his nine grandchildren; and his 14 great-grandchildren; 
17therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

20Dale Otto Wynes and extend our sincere
condolences to his

him; and be it
