Amends the Illinois Pesticide Act. Provides that any manufactured seed that has been treated with a pesticide and that is to be disposed of must be disposed of at a permitted hazardous waste disposal site. Effective January 1, 2024.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Pesticide Act is amended by adding |
| 5 | | Section 19.4 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (415 ILCS 60/19.4 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 19.4. Disposal of pretreated seeds. Any manufactured |
| 8 | | seed that has been treated with a pesticide and that is to be |
| 9 | | disposed of must be disposed of at a permitted hazardous waste |
| 10 | | disposal site.

| 11 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect January |
| 12 | | 1, 2024.
