AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3597 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3597 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 
4    "Section 5. The Director of Corrections, on behalf of the 
5State of Illinois, is authorized to execute and deliver to the 
6Village of Hopkins Park, organized and existing under the laws 
7of the State of Illinois, of Kankakee County, State of 
8Illinois, for and in consideration of $1 paid to the 
9Department of Corrections, a quitclaim deed to the following 
10real property:
 
11Parcel Number 10-19-36-100-024, 16010 E 4500 RD S, Pembroke 
12Township, IL 60958
13Parcel Number 10-19-36-100-025, Pembroke Township, IL 60958
14Parcel Number 10-19-36-100-026, Pembroke Township, IL 60958
15Parcel Number 10-19-36-100-027, Pembroke Township, IL 60958

1    Section 10. The conveyance of real property authorized by 
2Section 5 shall be made subject to: (1) existing public 
3utilities, existing public roads, and any and all 
4reservations, easements, encumbrances, covenants, and 
5restrictions of record; and (2) the express condition that if 
6the real property ceases to be used for public purposes, it 
7shall revert to the State of Illinois, Department of 
8Corrections.
 
9    Section 15. The Director of Corrections shall obtain a 
10certified copy of this Act within 60 days after its effective 
11date and, upon receipt of the payment required by Section 5, 
12shall record the certified document in the Recorder's Office 
13in the County in which the land is located.
 
 
14    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
15becoming law.".
