AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1767 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1767 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 
4    "Section 5. The Prevailing Wage Act is amended  by changing 
5Section 5.1 as follows:
 
6    (820 ILCS 130/5.1)
7    Sec. 5.1. Electronic database. The Department shall 
8develop and maintain an electronic database capable of 
9accepting and retaining certified payrolls submitted under 
10this Act no later than April 1, 2020. The database shall accept 
11certified payroll forms provided by the Department that are 
12fillable and designed to accept electronic signatures. 
13Beginning January 1, 2022, the Department shall make 
14accessible to the public on its website by the 16th day of each 
15month following the month the work was performed the following 
16information from certified payrolls submitted under this Act:

1each worker's (i) name, (ii) classification or 
2classifications, (iii) skill level, such as apprentice or 
3journeyman, (iv) gross wages paid in each pay period, (v) 
4number of hours worked each day, (vi) starting and ending 
5times of work each day, (vii) hourly wage rate, (viii) hourly 
6overtime wage rate, and (ix) hourly fringe benefit rate. The 
7database shall be searchable by contractor name, project name, 
8county in which the work was performed, and contracting public 
9body.

11    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
12becoming law.".
