2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of Philip John Kibler of Moline, who passed |
4 | | away on September 15, 2017; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, Philip Kibler was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to |
6 | | George T. and Frances J. (Cronbaugh) Kibler on August 25, 1927; |
7 | | he graduated from Marengo (Iowa) High School in 1945 and |
8 | | attended the University of Iowa; he served in the United States |
9 | | Army in Japan from October 1, 1945 to February 26, 1947; and
|
10 | | WHEREAS, Philip Kibler was employed with the United States |
11 | | Postal Service's Railway Mail Service and then at the Cedar |
12 | | Rapids (Iowa) Post Office, retiring in 1984; and
|
13 | | WHEREAS, Philip Kibler was a member of East Moline American |
14 | | Legion Post 227, East Moline-Silvis AMVETS Post 145, and the |
15 | | Croatian Club; and
|
16 | | WHEREAS, Philip Kibler was preceded in death by his |
17 | | parents; his brother, George B. Kibler; and his twin sister, |
18 | | Phylis Mary Kibler Shedenhelm; and
|
19 | | WHEREAS, Philip Kibler is survived by his son, Daniel |
20 | | Kibler (Diana Hobson); his grandchildren, Morgan F. Kibler and |
