SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Justin Robert "JJ" Brim Jr., who passed 
4away on June 23, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Justin Brim was born on April 30, 2014 to Justin 
6Sr. and Patrice Brim; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Justin Brim was a very intelligent child and had 
8an amazing propensity to learn; even before he could walk, he 
9could recognize letters and numbers; he loved going through his 
10flash cards and eventually knew every animal, color, and animal 
11sound associated with each card; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Justin Brim was loving, kind, and patient; he was 
13never any trouble to anyone; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Justin Brim was especially loved by his 
15grandparents, Frank Brim, a 29-year veteran of the Chicago Fire 
16Department and the founder and CEO of the Garfield Park 
17Baseball Club, and Tracey Brim, pastor of Work of His Hands 
18Ministries; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Justin Brim is survived by his parents; his 
20grandparents; his brother, Jaxson; and many other loving family

1members; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Justin Robert "JJ" Brim Jr., and extend our sincere condolences 
5to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be 
6it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to  the family of  Justin Brim as an expression of our 
9deepest sympathy.
